MAKE IT "REAL" USING TELETHERAPY FOR SPEECH REHAB NEEDS

These changing times have prompted a deep passion to meet the challenges of our families in need.  
Using teletherapy, the therapist empowers the parent to be in the center of the therapy process and teaches  them be the "hands" of the session.  
It allows the child to be in their home environment with their belongings and their family members.

It doesn't mean that you need to sit in front of a computer and do "drills".   Teletherapy  is a way to have very dynamic and innovative treatment.  
We keep it "real" by using a variety of familiar household items and toys to regularly address goals.  We keep it "real" through repetition of the same goal, but not with the same stimuli.   
We want to bring the state of Utah new and innovative treatments that are functional, quality and bilingual.  Teletherapy will allow us to serve  the state of Utah's community with programming for:                                                          

Early intervention stimulation 

School aged children 

Early adulthood

Adults

Geriatrics  
During this time, teletherapy has become the "new normal".  I have built a teletherapy practice on the east coast that gave me a new excitement to start something new.  We grew our practice very early on with the strike of COVID-19, and I am looking for areas that our team can further assist that have a special place in my heart.
